Best prices, groups, schedule for in-season tournament championship in Las Vegas

The In-Season Tournament is back for its checkup. Only it’s now known as the Emirates NBA Cup.

For the second season, 30 teams will compete in the mid-season competition for bragging rights, and most importantly, $500,000 per winning player. Regardless, it gives the league a little extra boost during the season.

It all goes down this November and December with four games a team. Eight move to the playoffs, two play for the title, but only one will win the NBA Cup in Las Vegas this winter. Call it an extra holiday gift as the best of the East and West go at it.

Last year, the Lakers took home the inaugural title, beating the Pacers for the crown. This time it comes down to the Bucks and Thunder. Can Giannis and Milwaukee keep the momentum or will the young and powerful Oklahoma City claim the crown?

When is the NBA in-season tournament?
The 2024 NBA Cup is played over six dedicated play dates beginning Nov. 12 and ending Dec. 3. Each matchup will be played at the home team’s venue.

The top eight teams will compete in the playoffs. Quarterfinals will be played at home arenas and are scheduled for Dec. 10 and 11. The semifinals and NBA Cup Championship, played a T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, is scheduled for for Dec. 14 and Tuesday, Dec. 17.
